Action against Lal Masjid radical mosque

Just got news that there are clashes happening between the security forces and the radical students of the Lal Masjid mosque and madrassa, situated at the center of the capital.

The BBC just has a small Breaking News page, but I believe Geo TV and other local news channels are covering the event in more detail.

I must be 4-5 kilometers from the area, though there isn't any sign of the event. Can't hear any gunshots and there isn't any smoke rising. However, it is reported that at least one person has been killed. Hope things come to a conclusion soon.

Yes a conclusion has already been made. Not to mention, a worst conclusion it was. The deadly operation left a lot of people dead. And a few more missing. I only know the government saying that it had killed more than 70 terrorists who were firing from Masjid at security forces. It also told that lives of the 10 security forces were claimed in the course of the operation. These include a SCG's Lieutenant Colonel and a Captain.

The aftermaths of the operation were severely felt arround the country in terms of bomb blasts and firing at public places.
