One of the world's top laptop makers, Lenovo just announced at the
LinuxWorld conference that it will start to offer laptops with Linux
pre-installed. It looks like they've gone into a deal with Novel, though
I'm not too excited about that after the recent Microsoft-Novel
agreement regarding Linux.
I'm strongly considering buying a laptop of my own and it is very
likely to be a Lenovo. However, it's quite likely that I won't get this
option here and I'm already very comfortable with installing my own OS.
This is still a big thing and should come as a welcome news to a lot of
people who are sick of all the hassles and licensing issues of Windows.
