The vertigo-inducing view from the top of Ramkot Fort. Situated in the middle of the River Jhelum, now dammed by Mangla Dam, the fort was built at the site of an ancient Hindu temple. The hill rises up sharply from the lake surface and the fort can only be reached via a steep path.
This set of abandoned iron pipes must have endured quite a few rains. The rust covered them completely and caused them to glow a golden red color in the light of the setting sun. Discovered somewhere in F-9 park, Islamabad.
A Blue-and-yellow macaw smiles wickedly at the biggest bird park in Pakistan. Lakeview Bird Park is located next to Rawal Lake on the outskirts of Islamabad and is home to numerous species of birds.
The Kalash tribe in the mountains of Northern Pakistan has preserved its ancient culture and customs. Their unique way of life includes dressing that is not found anywhere else in the world. It is said to be the place where Alexander the Great fought one of his last major battles and received an almost fatal wound. The city is filled with exquisite tombs, remnants of ancient temples and […]
Shot this in F-9 park recently. F-9 is a whole sector in the middle of Islamabad, set aside as park. The park contains a number of attractions and is an excellent recreational place where one can witness amazing sunsets.
To commemorate the International Mountain Day, I am sharing this photo of Nanga Parbat that I shot earlier this year. The world’s 9th highest mountain is an impressive sight in itself. For a few minutes around sunset, it attains a pink glow that turns it into a sculpture of sheer beauty.
