Rama is a forested hill resort in Gilgit Baltistan’s Astore District. Rama Lake is a couple of hours trek from here. This pond was found in the surrounding forest, on the way back from the lake.
Covered in pine needles, it made for quite a soothing sight.
Rama Lake (Sango Sar) is a glacial water body on the eastern edge of the Nanga Parbat massif in the Astore District. It is about 1.7km (1.07miles) in circumference and is reachable by a hiking trail from Rama.
